Business websites delivered as IT projects
IT project summary: Historic DeLand website
For a community local-history project for DeLand, the website is a piece of business infrastructure, not decoration.
This summary records the legacy system found in the archive and the deployed solution, a source-backed archive with landmark pages, historic districts and self-guided walking tours.
Legacy system: historicdeland.com
Legacy captures of historicdeland.com are archived but failed to render during our audit, so only the deployed Historic DeLand site is documented.
Deployed solution for Historic DeLand
In production, the business now runs a source-backed archive with landmark pages, historic districts and self-guided walking tours.
The production homepage opens with “Historic DeLand — The Athens of Florida”.
Top-level modules in production include Businesses, Events, Tours, Places, Timeline.
Where business IT and the Historic DeLand site meet
